Our Mission

SpeedMbps is dedicated to providing a fast, accurate, and user-friendly internet speed testing service. We believe everyone deserves to know the true performance of their internet connection — without creating an account, installing an app, or wading through intrusive advertisements.

Who We Are

SpeedMbps was founded by Marcus Vance, a former network infrastructure engineer, alongside a small team of independent web developers. After spending years working on fiber deployments and dealing with ISP routing inefficiencies, Marcus grew frustrated with existing speed test tools. Too many tools are slow, bloated with ads, or quietly affiliated with the very ISPs they are supposed to be testing.

We built SpeedMbps to be genuinely independent, lightweight, and aggressively transparent about how your internet actually works.
